What does Lennie's fight with Curley show the ranch hands? What does the opinion of this fight suggest about the nature of violence?

It shows Curley to be even more pathetic than they thought. Lennie crushes Curley's hand making Curley look feeble and weak. Violence in this world is tied to masculinity. Curley has a major case of small guy complex and this fight undermines his credibility.
