Of Mice and Men

Look back at other chapters; using evidence, how does Steinbeck use foreshadowing show what was going to end up happening in Chapter 6?

There are many instances of foreshadowing. Chapter one shows the death of animals. George tells lennie to meet him by the creek should anything happen which foreshadows chapter 6. The biggest example is when Carlson kills Candy's dog to put him out of his misery. This foreshadows the death of Lennie.
