do you find the characters likeable in Of Mice and Men?

Not all of them are likeable. Certainly Lennie and George have characteristics that are agreeable. Characters like Curley are quite the opposite. Most of the characters are more lonely and pathetic more than anything else. I'm inclined to want to meet George or Slim. THey seem to still keep their humanity about them and might prove to be loyal friends.
