Curley's relationship with his wife

How close are Curley and his wife? Does he care at all when she died, or is getting revenge on Lennie breaking his hand the only thing on his mind?

Curley's wife is a possession. She he represents such loneliness that she doesn't even get a name. Curley os abusive although we never do seethe together. She spends much of the time "looking" for Curley although she is really looking for other companionship. No Curley doesn't really care about his wife's murder. He is more excited about the prospect of hurting Lennie than anything else.

Thank you for your help and time.
