I have an essay due soon for my eng201 class. and i have no clue where to begin...
this is what im supposed to write about.. 500 words 5 paragraphs.

"In Of Mice and Men, Steinbeck champions the case of those rejected by society. Show how this applies to Curley's wife, Crooks, And Candy OR Lennie."

I would really appreciate any help, thank you in advance!

Show how each character is rejected by those around him/her. Then show how Steinbeck makes us sympathize with this character.

The wife is treated as property by Curley. We see her loneliness when she talks to Lennie in the barn.

Crooks is treated like an animal, sleeping in the barn and not allowed in the bunkhouse. He is so lonely he feels sick.
