In Chapters 14-15, why do you think this fairy tale comes to mind?

In order to keep herself calm as she travels down the dark path, Annemarie tells herself the story of Red Riding Hood. Like Annemarie, Little red Riding Hood also had to take a scary journey through the woods to help her grandmother. By returning to her childhood fantasy during a fearful experience, Annemarie learns that childhood experiences can be a source of comfort and therefore, strength.
