Do you agree with the family's decision t hide Ellen?Why or why not

Ellen is kind to everybody and is like a sister to Annemarie and Kirsti. However, her life changes after the Germans occupy Denmark because Ellen and her family are Jewish. I think that it was right and heroic for Annemarie's family to hide Ellen. They did the honorable thing even at the expense of their own safety.
