Nosferatu

What was the directors intention on making Nosferatu film?

Include Weimar Germany and Nosferatu being perceived as a Jew

I'm not too familiar with this aspect of the film but check this out:

F. W. Murnau was a homosexual film maker. Many believe that Nosferatu was a stance on how homosexuality was villainized in 1922. The monster being an amalgamation of femininity and sexuality. If you notice the pointy nails, the skinny and cinched waist, and the fact that nobody but the viewer seems to notice how deformed the creature and knock are compared to the others. (At least, that's what we have been told in our university lecture)
