The novel Night deals with a specific aspect of WW2 that is not always explored in detail. Night is written as a story but the details are very much what Elie Wiesel lived through. The holocaust was a time that people must never forget about. Ethnic cleansing and genocide is sadly still part of the human experience. Wiesel, who recently died, said of the holocaust "to remain silent and indifferent is the greatest sin of all."
