what objects comforted Eliezer on his journey?

If you hadn't asked for objects, I would have gone with Eliezer's most values possession, his FATHER. Holding onto family was everything, as long as they had hope is staying together, or even hope that those they were separated from still lived........... they had a sense of comfort.

As far as material possessions, Aslan is correct; he held onto that tooth for as long as humanly possible. I would add his shoes to that.......... and the fork and knife his father carried (the family inheritance).
