2**. To what did Wiesel like in the story of the Germans throwing bread into the wagon and why was it so upsetting to him?

Later in his life, Elie went to Aden. The passengers he traveled with threw coins to the "natives", and they practically killed each other fighting over them. This occurence reminded Elie of the Germans throwing bread to the prisoners, and how they were willing to kill each other fighting over it.
