how were kapos like the camp administrator and how were they like the other prisoners

A Kapo was essentially a concentration camp prisoner who cooperated with the Nazis. They were given "police duties" in exchange for better food and living conditions. They were not subjected to the same torture as other prisoners. They were still, however, Jews and subject to the same punishments and scorn.
