Can the problems discussed in the book be addressed through policy? Should it be? How?

Some of the problems can be addressed through policy. Companies can take more responsibility for their workers. I think, however, their needs to be a major shift in ideology of the general population. The government and the people must make it a priority to protect the disadvantaged and provide opportunity for them.
