And the answer is......B! Douglas describes the living conditions of his first master.Colonel Lloyd owns the plantation where his master Captain Anthony lives. Douglass describes the harsh inhuman conditions that the slaves lived in. He also details regular whippings of slaves, rape and the sad laments that he hears the other slaves sing.
