Describe what took place as the event of the wooden horse unfolded?

The Greeks, who'd been unable to breach the walls of Troy, built a wooden horse, hid thirty men inside, and left it outside the city..... after which time, the Greeks left the area. When the Trojans brought the horse inside the city walls, they intended to display it as a souvernir of war. When everyone went to sleep that night, the men inside the horse released themselves and opened the gates for the rest of their army. Thus, the Greeks took Troy.
