Mr M is envious of Confucius's calm ,gentle Chinese heart". What emotions does Mr M have that are different from Confucius?

There are many differences between the two that explain Mr. M's envy. Firstly, unlike Confucius, Mr. M finds it difficult to attain inner tranquility, especially in terms of his surroundings and political unrest. Confucius' calm is a direct result of his deeper understanding... something that Mr. M years for, but as of yet is unable to attain.
