My Antonia

why is Anton Cuzak a good match for Antonia? In what ways is Antonia able to resolve the problems her father went through in the past generation by marring Anton in this generation?

be specific please but brief

Cuzac is not a bad man. That's a good thing! When Jim meets Cuzac, he describes him as a "crumpled little man." Jim immediately likes Anton's good nature and humour. In many ways Anton seems well suited to Antonia, "she was the impulse and he the corrective."Unlike Antonia's father Anton seemed grounded by his wife and content to stay on the farm despite his liking for the city.
