Much Ado About Nothing

the fact that each of the characters does in fact wish to be married.

External or Internal?

How did characters attempt to solve the problem/conflict?

What was the result in the end?

The two main characters, Beatrice and Benedict, wishing to be married is largely an internal conflict. Benedict and Beatrice fine common ground in their support for Hero over her being left at the altar by Claudio. Hero and Claudio seem to be external in their conflicts as they are being manipulated by outside forces. When all is sorted out, the bad guys are caught, the Hero and Claudio reconcile.
