Read Proverbs 4:16. How do these verses apply to Don John and his companions?

The provern goes:

For they cannot rest until they do evil;
they are robbed of sleep till they make someone stumble.
They eat the bread of wickedness
and drink the wine of violence.

Certainly Don John and his friends do not have a good reason for causing so much discord. There are vague references to Don John dislikes his brother but it would seen Don John is a flat character bent on evil for evil's sake. He is consumed with causing harm to others.
