Much Ado About Nothing

In the early part of the play, Don John makes Claudio believe that the Prince is wooing Hero for himself. Could this be considered an example of foreshadowing? Why or why not?

It is more a part of Don John's scheme than foreshadowing. The success of his plan is not guaranteed.
