Rose Bud or Rose Button. The name is ironic because the smell of the two whales attached to the ship is nauseating and the men have no understanding why the whales are attached when they seem to be completely a waste of time. However, their is value here (ironic because the men do not think so) because these sickly, dead whales may have ambergris in them somewhere, a more valuable commodity than the usual whale profit-making substances.
