What is naomis life like when hiram returns?

Naomi's life is worse than before. Hiram sees Naomi walking down the street and Ruthanne tells him that Naomi is still taking care of the Rydell house and that R.C. is known as a troublemaker. Hiram wishes that eventually he will get to see Naomi and talk to her again.
