why does oberon cure titania of her infatuation with bottom?

Oberon wants Titania for himself, and for a time the changeling received all of her intention. When he had her eyes annointed, he had no idea the first person she'd see would be bottom. Thus, with the child no longer a problem, he had her eyes annointed again...... and she saw him first. Their relationship was back on!
