Oberon and Titania are fighting over a changeling child she has brought with her from India. The boy's mother was one of Titania's ladies-in-waiting who she was close to as well. The woman was a mere mortal but the baby is part fairy. She gives the boy to Titania to raise.Titania dotes over this child which makes Oberon jealous. Oberon wants to make the boy part of his entourage. Titania refuses to give the boy up, hence the conflict.
