A Midsummer Night's Dream

The power of theatre in William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream

I think its connected with the play-within-a-play (Pyramus & Thisbe)

This can be taken at different levels. As you point out (Pyramus & Thisbe) I'll focus on that. Basically the play Pyramus and Thisbe is meant to strengthen the themes of the main play. THe craftsmen bumble along satirizing the whole theme of love as we see in the main play. Pyramus and Thisbe hence adds more power to the misunderstandings and mixups that happen in the main play.

Thank you. And what would be these different levels that you've mentioned? Could you develop it? I'll be grateful.
