Analyse and explain the significance of this quote "I had a dream, past the wit of man, to say, what a dream it was. Man is but an ass, if he go about to expound this dream." (IV. I. 207 - 219)

Bottom is trying to explain his experience in fairy-land. He thinks it was a dream but too strange a dream for anyone to take him seriously.
