What is the first indication that Dorothea and Casaubon may have decided to marry too hastily?

What was the first thing that happend that told you that Dorothea and Casaubon were marrying without the right mindset?

Their expectations of marriage are completely opposite. Dorothea saw marriage as companionship and intellectual bonding (she wanted to learn everything), whereas her husband saw her as a live in secretary.
