Antonio and his friends are sitting around talking on the streets of Venice. Antonio tells his friends that he doesn't himself understand his sadness (melancholy), but that it has nothing to do with business worries or being in love.

Antonio and his friends are in the street of venice. Antonio is sad and he does not know the cause of his sadness. He tells his friends that he is weary so as his friends.He dies not know how the weariness was born and he needs to find out the cause.
