Shylock blind passion for revenge

I think Shylock's blind passion for revenge is jusified.Shylock was disrespected and insulted by Antonio and gang on various occasions as explained by him.Antonio used to call him a beggar whereas the othersabused his religion. His heritage and religion made him instinctively hate christians.Shylock could have been very different if his past had not forced him into this position. After his daughter ran away from home taking all the money and even the ring that Shylock's late wife had given him. This made Shylock furious and he became more inclined towards revenge. When Antonio's friends helped Jessica elope, it filled Shylock with rage and he decided to redeem his bond and made him more passionate about killing Antonio.
