Are the themes in merchant of venice relevant today and what does it teach a 21st century audience?

Unfortunately the desire for wealth, anti-Semitism, prejudice, and racial and gender bias are all still a part of modern society. These themes have never gone away and seem entrenched in many people and cultures. Merchant of Venice is still very relevant today.
