"All that glisters is not gold..." says the scroll in the golden casket. What does this mean? I have an idea, but im not sure that it is right. Can you help? Thanks!

It's the classic, all that is shiny is not necessarily valuable. Good looks do not mean good quality. Hence the statement is telling a suitor not to choose this casket. Just because it is the most valuable metal doesn't mean it contains the coveted prize.
