In book 1, chapter 3 Vladek recounts that 600 POW's where shot in a forest outside Lublin. Do you know any other source that recounts this episode?

@jill The episode Vladek recounts (page 61 of book 1) took place in 1939 or 1940, and it's not mentioned in any of the descriptions of the Lublin-camps in your link. I'm still looking for another source that recounts this episode.
