8. What would you have done if you were a Jew living in Poland during the Second World War? What would you have done if you were a Pole? A German? Why?

That's a big question. I'm sitting here in my comfortable office right now sipping a vanilla latte. I have no clue how these people felt, any of them. I can only comment what I hope would have happened. If I were a Jew, I would have hoped to read the danger signs and get out of there. If I were a Pole, I hope I might have made a positive difference in a Jew's life. If I were a German I would hope that I might have been part of the underground fighting the Nazis. This is all hypothetical though, I really have no idea what it would have been like for these people.
