Macbeth Act 2 scene 4

Duncan's sons, Malcolm and Donaldbain, react to his death by leaving Scotland and going to England and Ireland respectively.Given what Macduff reveals in this act and scene, do you believe this is a good idea or bad idea?

It is a good idea to make sure they are safe. However, it is initially interpreted that they have run because they were the ones who hired someone to murder their father so that Malcolm could take over the throne. Later, it turns out that they were right since Macbeth would kill them if he could.
