As Macbeth wades farther into murder and paranoia, he is less concerned with his wife. Macbeth becomes consumed with staying King and appeasing his sense of paranoia over people that he perceives as threatening him. Lady Macbeth becomes irrelevant to him; he simply doesn't care about her anymore.
