Macbeth

Is Othello or Macbeth more effective in the presentation of "Pride" as a theme

I'll going to have to say Macbeth. Otherllo's greatest downfall was jealousy. He didn't kill his wife because he was prideful; he killed her because he believed she'd been with another man and was insanely jealous.

Macbeth on the other hand based his decision upon pride. His downfall is a direct result of ambition and pride in self.
