Macbeth

In Act IV there are many images and/or motifs (ideas) of darkness & night, blood & death, nature & the supernatural.

What is your opinion of them.

I think they underscore Macbeth's decent into madness and paranoia. I think they fit well with the mood and tone of both Macbeth and the play at this point.
