Macbeth is lost in his predictions of becoming Cawdor and King while Banquo does not trust the witches of his or Macbeth's prediction. Macbeth is quite willing to take the weird sisters at their word. Banquo thinks the witches will only "Win us with honest trifles, to betray 's. In deepest consequence."
