According to the footnotes, what does the line “An you all know, security / Is mortal’s chiefest enemy” mean?

In context, this means that Macbeth will foolishly come to believe that he is greater than fate.... too confident, too prideful, and as a result he will mock death..... and overconfidence..... hubris..... is man’s greatest weakness and enemy.
