In another comic scene (page 111), what do Macduff's son and Lady Macduff joke about?

Lady Macduff asks he son how he will live now that his father is dead. He responds that he will live the way birds do..... taking whatever he can get. His mother responds that he would be a "pitiable" bird, who wouldn't know enought to be frightened of traps.... to which he responds that he wouldn't have to be frightened, as hunters wouldn't be searching for a "pitiable" bird..... why would they want him.
