At recess, a child takes Zinkoff's giraffe hat and races around the playground, laughing. Zinkoff laughs, too. A fourth-grader claims that the hat belongs to him, and Zinkoff believes him, although he is sad to part with it. The third-grader, who expected Zinkoff to cry, throws the hat on the ground and steps on it. After school, Zinkoff tells his mother he had a good time and loves his teacher, and Mrs. Zinkoff gives him a star.
