I need some quotations and page number of the quote. I understand taht each book edition has different pages but just include the one u have.

i need a quote descrinb this:
-Ralph appears to be good-natured throughout the story because he protects piggy from mockery and violence.

-However, when Ralph is mesmerized by the chant of the tribe, his inner beast is relinquished and ends with the result of the participation of the assassination of Simon.

I am helping my son with understanding the story.   What ideas did these symbols represent.   Piggy's glasses, the conch, the beast, the huts and the Lord of the Flies.   Thanks for any help you can bring to me.
