Lord of the Flies

What were some of the similarities and differences between Golding's novel?

What were some of the similarities and differences between Golding's novel and the movie Lord of the Flies in 1963, and how might we improve the film and make it related to the story's theme if we had the chance to make the same movie in 2021?

The theme is When civilization does not exist, humans are susceptible to change, going from good to evil.

Please help! me with this information as I am struggling

The original 1963 film was not far from the book. It was dry but generally followed the narrative. There are minor differences like:

-Simon is dark in the book and fair in the film.

-Book--a ship passes. Film--it's a plane.

-The officer at the end does not speak.

The 1990 version of the film strays so far from the bookj it is difficult to consider them the same story.

Thanks but can you also help me with that question I will really appreciate it

How might we make the same movie in 2021 better and relate to the story's theme if we could remake the 1963 film?
