What does the wild pig incident reveal about jack? Why does jack seem to dislike piggy in chapter one?

1) Jack's first interaction with a small pig is really quite innocent. He can't bring himself to kill it, but then he's upset that he didn't.

2) Jack refuses Piggy's offer to go them to seach the island. His group is physical, and Piggy is not what we would call physically fit.
