What does the emergence of two different societies reflect about utopia and ideas of the ideal?

Utopia is a perfect world but I don't really know what to say for this question

When the boys are first stranded, the island is a utopia. The island is beautiful and untouched; it's a place of adventure and discovery, exploration and mystery. Best of all, it's a world without adults and adult supervision....... there was no one to tell them what to do. What more could a group of boys ask for?

As the story continues, we see the emergence of a new society, a dystopia. Ralph and Jack's struggle for power creates chaos, and the boys begin to fight amongst each other. The final culmination and shift to the dystopian society occurs when Simon and Piggy are murdered.
