I'm sorry, there is no question attached to your post. In the Lord of the Flies, the darkness of man's heart beomes apparent when civilization is left behind.... though, not in all cases. Jack and his tribe embrace the world of no rules, no expectations, and simply living for whatever it is they want to do (hunt). Their desire to kill, and the bloodlust that fills them after they slaughter the pig is a descent into darkness. At this point, everything is fair game..... they no longer have consciences.
