There a many ways that you can juxtapose one's life with life on the island. I think the question is addressing your life which only you can answer. In a general sense, we can see the rules of law and order breaking down in the absence of consequences. The episode with Roger and Maurice kicking down the sandcastles thus signals the disintegration of ordered life on the island, and it foreshadows the end of Ralph's democratic plans. Roger and Maurice are learning that the laws of their old world, that protect the vulnerable, do not apply to this island. The sandcastles are a miniature civilization on the shore. By destroying the sandcastles, Roger and Maurice not only express an abusive power over the younger boys but indicate their increasing disrespect for civilized order and human institutions.
