Lord of the Flies

Lord-of-the-flies

How does superstition show dramatic effects in the novel? I'm not sure if it's from any chapter in particular .

Thanks

The boys need to make sense of their world as well as their fear. They rely on superstition like the beast and a ghost to explain their own emotional state. These superstitions are actually metaphors for the human condition.
