Jack assures the group that his hunters can defeat the beast, but Ralph dismisses Jack's group as no more than boys with sticks. This angers Jack.

How does Jack express his anger?

Ralph says that Jack and his fellows are doing useless chores but Jack is annoyed because of his achievement of killing a pig and fights with Ralph and leaves with few boys to form their own group with 'Jack' as their leader
