Ralph joins in on a hunt. He wounds a pig. For the first time Ralph feels the exhileration of the hunt. He also feels what it is like to be part of a tribe and feel accepted. I don't , however, really think this changes his outlook. Ralph is still very concerned with being rescued and leading the kids to a functional society.
